The organizing committee welcomes proposals for paper or poster presentations pertaining to the following themes in relation to Early Childhood Education:

  • Early Childhood Curriculum and Pedagogy
  • Child Development
  • Education and Professional Development of Early Childhood Teachers
  • Services for Children with Special Needs
  • Policy Issues in early childhood education
  • Educational Technology & Multimedia
  • Multi-disciplinary Perspective/ Cross-disciplinary Collaborations
  • Multicultural/ Cross-Cultural Issues
  • Family-School Co-Partnerships
  • Innovative Practices in Early Childhood Education

Submission Guideline of Proposal

  • Authors are required to submit an abstract in English. Abstracts should be between 250-300 words in length.
  • The abstract should be clearly stating the research purpose, methodology, major finding and conclusion. If it is under the theme of Innovative Practice or Cross-disciplinary Collaborations, the abstract should have clear statements that explain the theme, and what the knowledge and/or experience it intends to present.
  • Use 12 Times/Times New Roman fonts where possible. Abstracts should be in Microsoft Word format.
  • The title of the presentation, the name(s) and affiliation(s) of the presenter(s), and the country/countries should be indicated on a separate sheet to ensure anonymity in the review process. The title should appear again at the top of the text of abstract.
  • Email submission is strongly recommended; please attach the document in Microsoft Word format. Proposals should be sent to pecera.hz@gmail.com.
  • For the publication of the Abstract Book, abstracts must be written in English.

Language of the Conference

All plenary sessions will be conducted in English. Paper presentations may be conducted in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
